Breaking The Silence

Here is a poem I wrote last year.

Spirit of God
Breaking the silence
Ripping open heaven
To release a heart set in pain

Still gentle voice
Bringing blessing from the Father
A heart embracing such love
Is ready to live again

Creator of beauty
Saturating darkness with color
Weaving grace-filled patterns
As covers for sin and shame

Lord of revival
Engulf us with Holy fire
Till Jesus be seen in us
And Your Glory we proclaim
