Flooded with God

May Christ through your faith make His permanent home in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, ........... so that you may really come to know practically, through experience, the love of Christ, so that you may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself!

Caution

What Does God think about you?

 Here is Godfrey Birtill's answer
Do you believe what I believe about you?
Do you know what I know to be true?
I’ve put eternity into your heart
I’ve been madly in love from the very start
And forever we belong together.
Do you believe what I believe about you?
You are beautiful so precious too
You’re irreplaceable and unique
Created for this intimacy
And forever we belong together.
I say, I think you’re amazing
I say, I think you’re amazing
My love for you never changes
I say, I think you’re amazing
Do you believe what I believe about you?
With delight I’m singing over you
Like a bridegroom to his bride
Like a Father to his precious child
And forever we belong together.

Come as you are (C) Pocket full of Rocks

He's not mad at you,
And He's not disappointed.
His grace is greater still
Than all of your wrong choices.

He is full of mercy
And He's ever kind.
Hear His invitation,
His arms are open wide.

You can come as you are with all your broken pieces,
And all your shameful scars.
The pain you hold in your heart, bring it all to Jesus.
You can come as you are.

Louder than the voice
That whispers "you're unworthy",
Hear the sound of love
That tells a different story.

Shattering your darkness
And pushing through the lies,
How tenderly He calls you,
His arms are open wide.

You can come as you are with all your broken pieces,
All your shameful scars.
The pain you hold in your heart, bring it all to Jesus.
You can come as you are.

You can come as you are.

You can come as you with all your broken pieces,
All your shameful scars.
The pain you hold in your heart, bring it all to Jesus.
You can come as you are.

He moved into your neighborhood

The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. We saw the glory with our own eyes, the one-of-a-kind glory, like Father, like Son, Generous inside and out, true from start to finish.

difficulties and God's Grace

"All our difficulties are platforms for the manifestation of God's grace, power and love"

Your story isn't over

Chris Gore (Bethel) :

"We have become so conditioned to seeing the darkness, but darkness is not the problem. Darkness is just the partial or total absence of light. You realize that if Light is brighter than darkness then darkness is not even the problem. You don't ask to turn the darkness down. How do you get rid of darkness, you shine your light."

When dreams are falling apart

Safe by (C)  Phil Wickham

To the one whose dreams are falling all apart
And all you're left with is a tired and broken heart
I can tell by your eyes you think you're on your own
But you're not alone

Have you heard of the One who can calm the raging sea
Give sight to the blind, pull the lame up to their feet
With a love so strong and never let you go
No you're not alone

You will be safe in His arms, you will be safe in His arms
'Cause the hands that hold the world are holding your heart
This is the promise He made, He will be with you always
When everything is falling apart you will be safe in His arms

Did you know that the voice that brings the dead to life
Is the very same voice that calls you now to rise
So hear Him now He's calling you home
You will never be alone

These are the hands that built the mountains
The hands that calm the sea
These are the arms that hold the heavens
They are holding you and me
These are the hands that healed the leper
Pulled the lame up to their feet
These are the arms that were nailed to a cross
To break our chains and set us free

Safe in His arms, safe in His arms
Safe in His arms
When everything is falling apart
You will be safe in His arms

Restoring Dignity and Respect

He puts poor people on their feet again; he rekindles burned-out lives with fresh hope, Restoring dignity and respect to their lives— a place in the sun! For the very structures of earth are GOD's; he has laid out his operations on a firm foundation.

1 Samuel 2:8 (MSG)

Nothing as exciting

GraceQuotes.com

"I know of nothing so utterly exciting as being a Christian – sharing the very life of Jesus Christ on earth right here and now, and been caught up with Him into the relentless, invincible purposes of an almighty God, and with all the limitless resources of deity available for the job." ~Ian Thomas

Bono on religion

"Religion can be the enemy of God. It`s often what happens when God, like Elvis, has left the building. A list of instructions where there was once conviction; dogma where once people just did it; a congregation led by a man where once they were led by the Holy Spirit. Discipline replacing discipleship"   Bono

The New Ecstatics  quote

If you belong to Christ (and we all do) then you are Abraham's seed and HEIRS according to the PROMISE:
What promise is that?
'In you shall ALL families of the earth be blessed.'
Sounds like the heart of God has always included ALL families...
Gen 12:1-3/Acts 3:25/ Rom 4:18/ Gal 3:8, 14, 29

Nothing like a little Bible study for breakfast on a Monday morning -
Co-Heirs with Christ Have faith in God (the Hebrew word faith is a picture of a little baby suckling at his mothers breast/at rest, fully satisfied, totally dependent upon, at peace, content )...

Grace

“A grace revolution is sweeping across the Church. Many Christians are making the transition from legalism to grace. …..Legalism is the belief that my works are the basis of God’s acceptance and blessing. …….Grace is the belief that I am always accepted and qualified for every blessing because of the finished work of Jesus. …… Legalism says, “Do”……. Grace says, “Done!” There is nothing I can do to make God love me more; and there is nothing I can do that will make Him love me less. “

Caught up in the 'do-do' of religion

Caught up in the 'do-do' of religion? eg "Do this to experience more of God. Do that for your healing. Clean up your life. Fast, pray and weep for your break-through.This meeting, that meeting. Read the Bible in a year. Pray an hour, tithe, strive, confess, profess, memorize. The elite are at the prayer meeting. Small group, big group. soup group. Missed you at the mid week service sister, .."

Sounds like you need to relax at the Happy hour Joy Clinic where you can drink grace straight and rest in in the finished work of the cross.

Bringing you home

The fact is: God has not rejected you. He is not angry and out to get you. He has actually been devising ways to bring you back into His loving presence.

"All of us must die eventually. Our lives are like water spilled out on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again. But God does not just sweep life away; instead, he devises ways to bring us back when we have been separated from him."

from the Bible 2 Samuel 14:14 (NLT)

Come alive

Quoting:  John Crowder

In that forgotten closet of Earth, something began to move. Deep in the core of those silent membranes of flesh, a stirring began. Perhaps it started with a hum. Perhaps it happened with a flash, a bang or a thunderclap. But one by one, each and every individual cell in that lifeless body began to vibrate. Those cells began to bounce and bend again. They started to twirl and dance and sing and come alive.

We don’t know where it comes from, or exactly where it’s going. But this ever-coursing torrent of resurrection power got its hands on us that day. It snatched us clean up from that cold stone slab. It shot through us like an ethereal voltage – running solvent through our clotted veins and putting goose bumps back on our
clammy skin. It’s the energeon that holds us together this very moment.

The limp frustration of mortality was swallowed up in immortality. In an instant, everything had changed. sorrow was eclipsed by ecstasy. A holocaust became a holiday. A fast turned into a festival. When the last curtain call came in, we found that light really did have the power over darkness. That life is indestructible. Love is unquenchable.

Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?

God Himself is the Breath of Life. The unstoppable flame of charity. The joie de vivre. The flat announcement of the gospel is that we don’t have to die unless we want to. For love is as jealous as the grave. Death’s sting has been rendered impotent. And the saints can live forever.
