Worth Repeating

This message by Kris Vallotton needs to be repeated everywhere. God can take the worst situations and turn them into good. (Bob Lipsys - Australia)

Several years ago my son went through a divorce. It was the worst experience of our lives. I honestly don't know how any of us survived. I hurt so bad for my son and his 3 small children that I despaired of life itself. My son remarried an amazing woman a couple years ago and we also have loving relationship with our former daughter law.

My sons 3 children stayed with us this weekend. I was truly touched to the very core of my being by how well they are doing, the way they love God, and the kindness and true joy that exudes from each of them.

When we were in the darkest season of our lives, Jesus kept telling me to trust Him to work this out for our good. I didn't trust Him but He worked it out anyway.

I am awed by God's ability to take a terrible situation and somehow turn it around and actually make it better than it was before we failed. I don't get it but I am observing a miracle.

If you are considering a divorce, think long and hard because the pain will cut deeper than you could ever imagine.

If you are divorced God has an amazing ability to bring something beautiful out of something horrible.

The final word

It doesn't matter how long it's been or how impossible it looks. God is saying, "It's not over. I have the final say." - Joel Osteen

No longer a slave under religion

"But when the time arrived that was set by God the Father, God sent his Son, born among us of a woman, born under the conditions of the law so that he might redeem those of us who have been kidnapped by the law. Thus we have been set free to experience our rightful heritage. You can tell for sure that you are now fully adopted as his own children because God sent the Spirit of his Son into our lives crying out, "Papa! Father!" Doesn't that privilege of intimate conversation with God make it plain that you are not a slave, but a child? And if you are a child, you're also an heir, with complete access to the inheritance."                          Galatians 4:4-7 (MSG)

Breathe Joy

Jesus will lift you up until you sing. Until you only breathe joy. Until every cell sings with wonder of how He rescued you. .......Winnie CoCo Banov

Grace

“Grace is God walking into your world with a sparkle in his eye and an offer that’s hard to resist. ‘Sit still for a bit. I can do wonders with this mess of yours.'”

More splendidly

Grace is the gift of feeling sure that our future, even our dying, is going to turn out more splendidly than we dare imagine.  —LEWIS SMEDE

If I had known Him better

Lord, I crawled across the barrenness to you with  my empty cup. . . . If only I had known you better, I’d have come running with a bucket.                                                    by NANCY SPIEGELBERG

Provision

"God puts words in our life before we actually need them as a resource. He makes provision for you before you need it."            by Graham Cooke
