A short word of encouragement for those of you struggling through life
feeling forgotten even by God....

Last year I was having a ‘good whinge’ to God about the delay to the fulfilment of a “dream He had placed in our hearts.”.........
Having patience and waiting is very hard at times.

When I got to the end of my lament, an ad came on ABC TV, our national broadcaster.

An elderly man was talking of a harsh drought he’d been through. He ended with these words. "Then the rains came, and in a week everything changed."

That describes God perfectly. You can try all sorts of things during a drought. None of them really work. You just have to wait patiently for the rain. But, when it comes, everything quickly changes. In a week everything is different.

Patient and frustrated one, soon you will be testifying: “Then the Lord God came, and in a week everything changed.”
